The European Sustainable Events Conference

The Danish Sustainable Events Initiative has during the Danish EU Presidency worked towards establishing Denmark as a destination for sustainable meetings, conferences and events. The project partners turned to their local stakeholders for engagement and collaboration.

These steps has lead to believe that there was a solid foundation from both inside and outside Denmark to host a conference on this topic. With the support of Green Meeting Industry Council the conference planning started with the promising news of the ISO20121 certification of the Presidency. Below you will find snapshots of the results achieved in the Bella Center September 6th & 7th 2012.
